Below find the position as defined in our bylaws.

Club Head Coach

A Head Coach will be appointed by a two thirds (2/3) majority vote of the Board of Directors and will be under a coaching agreement with RCRC to provide the following:

1) The development of the Coaching Staff.

2) The coordination of all Schedules for training and usage of equipment between all members and programs.

3) Exclusive authority for the selection of all crews representing the Club in all rowing events. This includes priority of races, equipment, and attendance at all Regattas. The Head Coach will inform the Board annually of the intentions for Club attendance at all Regattas, and inform the Board should changes be necessary.

4) Determining who shall use any Club owned boats, according to an established skill rating system.

5) Establishing rules related to safe rowing practices and care of Club equipment.

6) Coordination of member rowers not participating in any other program.

7) Submitting recommendations for the purchase and sale of Club-owned equipment to the Board of Directors for its approval.

8) In connection with carrying out his/her responsibilities, the Head Coach shall be allowed to expend funds for routine recurring equipment and maintenance expenses provided they are previously approved by the Board of Directors.
