Community Boathouse

The Madison County Community Rowing Facility, our new boathouse, had its ribbon cutting on March 13th, 2008. Rocket City Rowing club occupies two bays in the four bay structure, the University of Alabama in Huntsville Rowing Club occupies one bay, and one bay is reserved for public use. Rocket City Rowing Club contributed $30,000 to the Ditto Landing Community Boathouse Committee to pay for construction of a second bay for RCRC. RCRC's Capital Fund Campaign, which is underway now, will provide funding to replace club savings, for boat racks in the boathouse, and to pay off club debt.
